My faith: a little bit about God
I would not be as passionate about creative explorations without my faith and my mother.
I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, otherwise known as the Mormons.
With my photography website, I was pretty subtle about my religious beliefs.
While I won’t be pushing anything on you, I do believe anything good is of God. Kindness, helpfulness, beauty… those are things that help us know that God is real, and that he is the source of truth and light.
As I began working on this project, I felt it was what God wanted me to do, and I had an outpouring of ideas for days.
I know it won’t always be like that, but I feel it was God’s way of saying, “This is good; I want you to do this.”
I’ve felt fear and anxiety about my photography business so much for a decade, I suppose I just got used to it.
My trusty unwanted partner, almost always there.
I am grateful for the time I spent supporting my family– we are in a good place now thanks to it. I had faith and tried to do good over the years while building a business. But I feel a vibrancy now as I’ve been seeking to listen to what God wants, not just what I think I want.
Doing things HIS way
What a marvelous thing to feel so free now: feeling led and guided more– less anxiety and worry.
Where this journey leads, I’m not sure yet, but I am excited for the discovery. I am grateful to my Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ, who love every person on this earth. The Spirit (Holy Ghost) gives inspiration and guidance to all seekers of light.
I am Amber Fife, the Incomplete Creative, and I am a Mormon.
